Gasworks Park

Since the sun was out, we decided to take a short trip to the Gasworks Park north of Lake Union in Seattle, after going under the Aurora Avenue bridge and passing the Fremont troll (created in 1990 by four Seattle area artists -- Steve Badanes, Will Martin, Donna Walter and Ross Whitehead). The park is an old industrial plant that has been converted into a park. It has a great view of downtown from across Lake Union and the park, in fall colour, illustrates the stark contrast between nature and man (who is a product of nature).
