Dirty Deeds - interviews

Danger of Infection

Dirty Deeds take you on a trip back to the days when rock 'n' roll was hard, aggressive, and fresh sounding. The bands they are most reminiscent of include early Van Halen, Whitesnake, and Iron Maiden. The vocals are decent, but it's really the guitar work of Pete Franklin and Barry Fitzgibbon that is the highlight of this release. I don't find Steve Harris' decision to sign them on his Beast Records label surprising at all. Dirty Deeds is one of the few bands carrying the heavy metal flame and judging by the music, the flame's burning quite well.
