After hearing this album, all I can say is "go buy the new album when it comes out!" I've been a fan of the Cranes since I heard Cloudless and the new stuff hasn't disappointed me in the slightest. Dark, brooding, melancholic---the old passion is still there. The sampler contains three songs Beautiful Friend, Shining Road, and Paris and Rome. The songs are faster paced than Cloudless, but the voice remains as haunting as ever.
