Devil Went Down to Georgia

by Pete Escott.

The Devil Went Down To Georgia is an entertaining tale about the Devil trying to claim a young boy's soul by challenging him to a fiddle-playing contest. Naturally, the boy wins, and the Devil is sent packing. The song is done in the country-western style of Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, and is complimented by an excellent claymation video clip, especially when the Devil and his evil band are playing. The video is available as a secret bonus in the CD Enhanced album Rhinoplasty (the password is Violin), and was also featured on the TV show Robin and Friends. Incidentally, when it was first aired in Australia, on Robin and Friends, it was broadcast right after South Park, which Primus provides the theme song for.
